Juliana bike

The southern access trail to Juliana Bike from the Goriška Brda hills opens a fresh view of the connection between the Mediterranean and the alpine world. Historically, Slovenians crossed high passes to exchange cultural, culinary, and linguistic traits along trade routes — making Brda’s role as the “southern gateway” truly exceptional and still influential across the area below Mt. Triglav. The trail takes you from Šmartno, one of Slovenia’s most beautiful villages, across Vrhovlje to panoramic Korada, where the vineyards gradually give way.

The pre-alpine scenery unfolds in Kambreško, Srednje, and Volče, and you’ll complete the loop between the pre-alpine hills and the Julian Alps by joining Juliana Bike in Tolmin.
